Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Really pleased and couldn’t be happier with our newly boarded loft, ladder and hatch. Kurtis and Andy were friendly and professional, completing the job to a high standard. They took care with the work and everything was finished by the afternoon. They made sure to protect the carpet and left everywhere clean and tidy. Excellent service from start to finish. I would highly recommend

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had our loft boarded by Rob and Pat and we’re unbelievably happy with the work they’ve done. They kept us informed on their arrival time, did exactly what we asked for, demonstrated how to use the new built in ladder (and sent an instructional video as well just in case) and left the hall stairs and landing cleaner than when they arrived! Thank you so much!

Frequently Asked Questions – All Above Board Loft Storage

What is loft boarding and why do homeowners in Southport choose it?

Loft boarding is the professional installation of a raised storage floor in your attic space. In Southport and across the Northwest, homeowners choose loft boarding to transform unused roof space into safe, accessible storage without compromising insulation. All Above Board Storage specialises in raised loft boarding Southport using an NHBC-compliant stilt system that keeps your insulation fully protected while creating a strong, level floor.

What are the main benefits of raised loft boarding in Southport homes?

Raised loft boarding maximises usable storage space, keeps your home clutter-free, and protects your existing loft insulation for better energy efficiency. It also adds easy access via a new loft hatch and ladder, improves safety, and increases the overall value and functionality of your Southport property. Customers love that it turns wasted space into practical storage they can actually use.

How does raised loft boarding protect my insulation?

Our raised loft boarding system uses specially designed stilts that lift the new floor well above the existing insulation. This keeps your insulation undisturbed and fully effective, preventing compression and maintaining your home’s energy efficiency.

What other services do you offer with loft boarding in Southport?

We provide a complete loft transformation package that includes:

– Raised loft boarding (any size required)

– New PVC drop-down loft hatches

– 3-section aluminium loft ladders

– Pendant lighting for safe access

– Loft insulation top-ups (if needed)

– Full loft clearance and rubbish removal

Everything is completed in one clean, professional visit.

How long does loft boarding installation take in a typical Southport home?

Most standard loft boarding jobs in Southport are completed in a single day. Larger or more complex projects may take a little longer, but our experienced team works efficiently to minimise disruption to your home.

How much does loft boarding cost in Southport?

We offer competitive, transparent pricing with no hidden costs. Packages are available for both standard homes and new-build properties. For an accurate price tailored to your loft size and requirements, we provide free, no-obligation quotes. Simply call us or request a quote online.

Do you remove old loft clutter before boarding?

Yes. Our loft removal/clearance service takes care of all the dirty work. We safely remove unwanted items, old insulation, and general loft junk so your new raised boarding is installed in a clean, empty space.

Is your loft boarding suitable for new-build homes in Southport?

Absolutely. We use an NHBC-compliant raised stilt system specifically designed for modern homes with deep insulation. It preserves your NHBC warranty while giving you the maximum safe storage space.
